    Now we're talking.

Last two trapbar dead sessions I posted were not 120kg inc bar but 125kg so today I got 8 reps at 125 then decided to go for 135kg (297lbs) just shy of the magic (for me anyway) 315lbs

I got three perfect reps. Felt great. I've really worked on my initial lift and it comes up completely unified, no ass up first and dropping forward, back rock steady.

Good job. I thought you slowed down, but it looks like you're progressing nicely.

I started legs for the first time ever back october and have gone from 55kg to 135kg and it felt so fucking solid today up, down, up, down.

I take a side on vid every time and the weight goes stright up and down.

I really thought going down to three reps would make me start losing form but not at all. I LOVE deadlifting.

Good really because I suck at benching.

    Chest & Triceps

    1. Incline barbell press 6,6,6 wheras last session was 6,5,6. Very meagre diet of advancement at the moment, holding out for a push on.

    2 Super set of;

    a) Tricep pushdowns up to 30kg for 11,13,13

    b) French press up to 20 kg for 12,13,13

    Back 2

    1. Chins. 50

Began with a good 7 so I've progressed by 2 since last week. Six, then all fives down to the last two sets which were fours.

I can measure all my progess now by how many chins in the first set, how many decline bench reps likewise and how many trap deads.

    The progression triangle.

What is interesting is I had less arm irritation (elbow tissue tenderness) this time up until forty so the body both heals/adapts and gains strenth in the interval. The gain in strength maybe saves the arm from over exertion giving less stress. Wonder if that's the mechnism rather than healing just to do it all over again.

    2. Wide grip pulldowns

Thanks, yes my back is very reluctant. I'm hitting it hard but as yet have not made any visible gains. Work in progress.

Lats, you need 15 sets of totally in controlled reps, 8-12 reps.

    Form is key....weight is nothing.

My chins are from full hang to top.

My wide grip pulldown are sitting upright below the pulley and pulling straight down to chin, no body movement. Lats flared at top.

    My deads are form perfect.

My one armed DB row is heavy but always targeted to feel the lat.

Trouble is I have a very narrow torso so my lats may never look wide. In that case they will be thick, I'll see to that.

Yep but they'll help thicken my back and I basically love the feel of them.

    Decline Bench.

I work on getting minimum 12 reps made up from 3 and 2 rep sets. Tomorrows high reps is todays low reps.

That way like my chins I increase the volume to raise the reps.
