Hope Kevin continues. He's not one to give up. Kevin if you read this, we'd love to see you continue competing as long as your health is not impacted negatively.

Excellent interview Bob! Really glad to hear Kevin is in a good place about the whole experience. As a big fan of his, I'm happy I got a chance to see him on stage on more time and hear the creed music and him hitting those classic shots. Big Props to him for sticking it out (legs be dammed). When he retired in 2003 he didn't really get a chance to get celebrated by the fans on his successful career so even if he never steps on stage ever again he'll have that moment now to cherish forever.

Good post and exactly why I think he should have been special Olympia guest poser.
They could have put the house lights down and put up a 3-4 min montage of his career high lights.
THEN, to a tremendous ovation the current Kevin appears and the lights slowly brighten.
He hits his signature side crab shot and the crowd goes wild.

He poses to classic 90's music, hitting his best shots for 2 min .

The music fades and Bob says ; " Let's hear it one more time for the Maryland Muscle Machine."
Kevin pauses briefly at center stage, soaking in the adoration, then waves and walks off to thunderous applause.

THAT's how a legend needs to say good bye.

Awesome... he has brought back so much more excitement to me personally just from his energy and the feeling that bodybuilding had for me in the 1990's. I am glad he's still going to hit it..I think he can come back to his 2002-2000 form. I also think that should be a Top 10 Mr. O finalist with that physique.

So glad he's going to keep at it. Nothing like Levrone...he's amazing!

I still would rather look like Kevin than any of those guys...
