It did not go as planned. Some of these fighters stay too long like Roy Jones.

Better at boxing for his age than Levrone at bodybuilding for his age
    Lance Armstrong is a winner.
Chael Sonnen to be next president.

And one of few who actually went after tough opponents rather than racking up the wins against low competition

Default 51 Year old Former Boxing Champ, Bernard Hopkins Retirement Fight!

Mean while, back at "Raider Nation" yesterday in San Diego, I was hanging with Boxing Trainer, Teddy Atlas!

Bernard should have come with us instead of getting Smash up! 🍻😎💪🏽

I was in Vegas in 2005 for Jermain Taylor/Bernard Hopkins 2, probably the most significant fight of that year. The next morning at 9am in the hotel gym I ran into Bernard doing a 7 mile run on the treadmill....the day after he lost a 12 round razor close decision. I said "what's wrong with you man?" he laughed and told me he could never take a day off until he wanted to hang it up. I hope he's taking a few rest days now.
