A white Toney Freeman would have 10 Olympias. If I could look like anyone I'd want to look like a prime Toney Freeman

Was close, Gerald has better back development and more ripped glutes, but I prefer Sasan overall package.

Yep, his arms actually looked better before the oiled them but that's almost always the case.

I don't have a dog in this race-- I honestly don't think either of these guys are world beaters, I was a fan of Gerald when he turned pro at NA's (and we interviewed him on GEAR'D Up, super smart and cool down), and Sasan is just a damn good all-around bodybuilder.

Point being-- I don't care who wins this.

That said, just watching the mandatories FROM A DISTANCE in this video-- putting aside balance, symmetry, conditioning, all that jazz-- Gerald was a hell of a lot more fun to watch on stage here, than Sasan. He looked confident as hell (it looked like Heath a few year back), and dramatic with all posing and transitions, while Sasan looked stiff, like he was nervous, and chasing Gerald.

Given that they're both new pros, this was a toss up. Bottom line, as corny as it sounds, I think Gerald just outright "out competed" Gerald here, and made him look like an amateur. Gut reaction from a distance.

Similarly you could argue that Sergio got his win v Delarosa in similar fashion. Been a while since this mattered, but it's kinda cool that it does.

However, I disagree with you saying Sasan chased Gerald, because after just watching the video he didn't. I'm going to say this now, Sasan will be phenomenal next year. He's pretty fresh, has a great coach and is super motivated.

Sasan with his coach. Watch out for some serious tissue accumulation.
