Since when does anyone trust the AHA? They still promulgate bogus info on saturated fats and the effects on the heart and circulatory system.

You said it, classic eg right here, sodium restriction for active people eating a whole food non processed diet likely has negative health implications, not benefits, but they keep trumping out the low sodium bullshit for everybody.

They normally take at least ten to fifteen years to catch up to the literature. Consistently incompetent.

Exactly. Especially those on a low-to-no-carb regimen need to intake MORE salt.

This. Do not listen to a word they say. In fact, do the opposite! They are a corrupt organisation sponsored by big business and will tell you breakfast cereals loaded with sugar are healthy....

Some articles on what a joke it is....

So the AHA demonise healthy/saturated fats but are complicit in supporting sugar companies!

Good to see some sensible people around here!

Keep it up guys. Spread the word! I do every chance I get... even at the risk of pissing off family and friends.
