    Pretty much lol, I know which is gonna get the real results.

    There is new growing body of research connecting some negative aspects of antioxidant use in some populations. There was an interesting study I read a while ago where vit e and another antioxidant maybe c was given to a group of smokers and they were monitored long term to gauge a benefit on negative health effects of smoking, the thinking being that the free radicals and damaging effects of smoking could be countered to some degree by the antioxidants use. The study was prematurely stopped because the health was significantly worse in the antioxidant group.

    The theory for the cause of this effect is known as hormesis and is well established. Basically it means that some degree of stress signals the body uses to gauge repair and response to environmental stresses and that the use of some antioxidants in reducing oxidation within cells can interfere with this signal and prevent the bodies protective stress responses.

    Most bodybuilders assume antioxidants is the air you breath out and how you basically live.
