"Unemployment, hopelessness and lack of education" is a terrible combination that facilitates the use of drugs as heroine.

    Excellent documentary.

Is opioid abuse/addiction more prevalent in lower income individuals? If so, I'm curious to know by how much.

According to the paramedic of the documentary, the people of that state are blue collar laborers, it's a state of heavy industry, then, suffer from many injuries and pains, go to the doctor and obtain pain medication.

But they do not clarify what kind of drugs they receive and why they stop receiving them.

Culturally there are drugs that are consumed according to social class, although this also changes through the decades.
