I like lying old school leg curls with stiff deads. seated are OK too as in your programm but i never liked the standing leg curl on one of these machines...

I have known guys who built great hams only using lying leg curls. All about that mind-muscle connection.

Deep squat gives me good pain on the back of my legs.

I like curls lying on one leg. Also the hip thrust.

Believe it or not we only have seated in the Gym so some guys use a decline bench with a DB between their feet...i have a lying machine(plate loaded) at home. not an expensive bench but it works great. From NL Fitness Canada. semi -pro kit.

Good article and the only way I can get decent hams is doing more volume on a separate day from quads.

I've tried holding the DB between my feet, so hard to keep that thing there! I've thought about having a training partner duct tape it in place for the duration of 3-4 sets.

Ok, on a serious note, I found that doing these glute/ham raises pumps 'em after leg curls.

It's called Nordic falls or Russian leg curls.
