I didn’t watch all that (and maybe I’m missing something here?) Why didn’t the kid defend himself?!?

Maybe there is a history to the situation.

The title is suggesting the kid is attacked for doing deadlifts.

Deserves to get attacked for dropping the weight like that after each lift.

Bottom line, you don't just go up to someone and put your hands on them. Hopefully the kid didn't get injured when the guy kicked his weights down.

Read up a little on it, what I read if true is the gym asked him to put mats under himself while deadlifting, he did and this guy still went in on him. The kid should have knocked his ass out putting hands on him or kicking the weight.

If he wants to train like that go join a power lifting or more hardcore bodybuilding gym. Doing that shit in chain gyms is like an Olympic swimmer going to do laps in a rec centre pool and pissing off the grannies.

Clearly this other guy was gym staff not a ‘stranger’. If he had been warned multiple times then I agree with Flex, go join a PL, CrossFit or Hardcore gym. It would be like going to the local YMCA and doing this. It’s the wrong place. Kids these days. lol

Typical case of 'Planet Fitness' syndrome.
The kid didn't do anything wrong.

You simply expel him from your gym, but you have no right to attack him, imagine that the guy be seriously injured.

Kicked out for violating the rules = ok.
Get assaulted with possible injury as conseqence = fuck no.

Having watched the whole video I don't think it had anything to do with the guy deadlifting as the second guy is constantly shouting "you're out" and never even mentions the noise from deadlifting

These 2 probably have some previous beef which might have ended with a 'don't ever let me catch you in here again'.

The second video discusses that the guy was asked to put mats down when he did dead lifts.
    He did so.
The question I have is it looks like that gym has a unprotected concrete floor.
Why has that free weight gym not installed a rubber floor over the concrete floor is the question.

6.00 mark. They guy was deadlifting 390lbs without mats and was controlling the weight as he lowered it to the floor. Gym staff came along and told him to use mats.

Starts deadlifting 375lbs with mats and instead of controlling the weight down like before he just lets it drop. Probably cos he got pissy for being asked not to make noise and use the mats.

Angry gym bro (apparently a friend of gym staff) comes along and kicks him out. Good job Sir.
