Well, I'm grateful for guys like doctor Connor.
He's one of the rare doctors who are approachable with questions about steroid use and TRT.
Besides, what doctor takes questions online for free? It's all free consults basically.

Keep the good work up doc!

I also agree. This past year, my gastroenterologist, my cardiologist and my GP have all either been very judgemental and critical of my TRT regime , or by their statements, have demonstrated an absolute lack of knowledge about TRT.

Examples: gastro said I should be under the care of an endocrinologist, not a TRT clinic, even though I get blood work twice a year and it is always fine. He also questioned in a very judgemental way why I'm on TRT, ask me if it was to just "bulk up" , I explained to him that yes, I have been lifting weights my whole life and yes, I like being muscular, but 6 years ago, before starting TRT my testosterone level was 300 ng/dl. His response: "I don't know what that means." I explained to him that that test result was at the low end of the testosterone spectrum, that's when he told me I should be under the care of an endocrinologist. I told him low T is a natural course of aging, I don't need an endocrinologist. He basically tilted his head like my German Shepherd.

My cardiologist told me I should only inject 100 mg cyp every other week.

My GP flat out told me to get off test, I don't need it and it causes prostate cancer. I explained to her that studies have shown it causes prostate cancer in men who already have it and then go on test. It was like talking to a wall.

My current regimen is 150mgs cypionate IM/wk, .5mg Anastrozole/wk. I'm 55 years old. It's like these docs think (and no disrespect) that I'm on a Dallas McCarver regimen.

Thankful we have the doc on this forum.

    Lol at the GP.

Before I found my current Doc, I once had a GP that said test would cause liver cancer.

Where do they get this shit! They should lose their license for making shit up like this.

Lol, I had one who was recommended who said why do u want to look like you do at 53, because my dear flog Dr I don't want to look like you since you brought it up

You know, a rounded shouldered skinny insipid male who cant sit straight, cant touch their toes and one that uses most party drugs that you can get your hands on.

Then I get, oh you are aggressive, no flog Dr I am giving you a direct forthright answer to your judgement of my physique at my age, my pulse hasn't moved a bit, in fact I pity you, most of all I pity your other patients.

As for the metabolic Dr being a doucbag, nope no way,

honestly is a blade that rarely cuts cleanly.

He probably read some published case studies that indicate a possible link between steroids and liver cancer.

There is some evidence as to a link between Hepatic adenomas (non cancerous tumors) and anabolic steroid use.

    Long term use increases risk.

My dad turned 70 this year he is on that diabetic wonder drug in fact he was one of the test patients here in Canada. He is dropped a hundred pounds over the past year and he's lean and everything like that like he's down almost too low if I didn't know any better I'd say he was on GH LOL. Anyways that being said he sees his doctor on Tuesday I told him to ask him about trt for his age group because his energy levels suck and everything else and because of all the different medications takes at his age he nods off sometimes and his energy levels fluctuate big-time other than that he feels great because of this wonder drug. Of course in comparison to what he felt like before. My point is and that was what I was telling him is that our testosterone drops had nearly nothing as we age and it affects our energy our health and a lot of other things. My whole point to him was his doctor doesn't get with the program then find someone who does because why is it there so comfortable giving him morphine for his pain medical marijuana drops for his pain also severe arthritis and these Wonder drugs and all these diabetic drugs and everything else but they won't give him testosterone f*** off already.
Myself I have some sus 250 coming into my hands later today as well some deca since I have a great hook up since moving back the DECA which I have never taken before should help with my joint pain that I'm experiencing lately and also I sprained my wrist several weeks ago but my hormone levels are in the toilet a f****** chick walks by and I noticed and I'm like wow especially Quebec French Canadian chicks but then 10 seconds later I don't give a f*** what does that tell you either my hormone levels are low or I am in fact probably turn gay LOL

It's going to take a long time for the ignorance and misinformation about T to dissipate. Luckily we do have a few enlightened doctors like Thomas who are trying to bring their peers up to date.

Orals at high doses for extended periods can be hepatotoxic, but injectable test at TRT dosages? Doctors are very good at their respective specialties, but they all think they know everything when it comes to anything medical and how they lecture patients.

I am a physical therapist and I remember years ago working in a hospital and an oncologist coming up to me, noticing my physique, and asking me about a nutrition program for himself. Imagine, a doctor asking about nutrition. I wish for once they would just admit they don't know that much about TRT and leave it to the specialists and not be so judgemental, it's getting to where when I see a doc, I don't want to include test in the medication list they request on their forms.

Unfortunately, I think doctors are also caught up with the propoganda they hear in the media. I mean, when the PDR says "anabolic steroids do not enhance athletic performance." REALLY?!?!?!?!?! I think to most docs, TRT is akin to a steroid cycle.

Again, thankful we have the doc on this forum. I've learned a lot from his videos.

What doesn't help either is when every anti-steroid article, or every article about an athlete who tests positive for PED's prints the mandatory picture of the syringe dripping oil, when in fact, injectables have far less side effects than orals! Just more media hype and ridiculousness.

A dripping syringe is a far more dramatic image - I love when they have a skull behind it or something too. Yes people, one shot of test will fucking kill you!
