    Default Paulo "The Freak" Almeida announces retirement

    IFBB Pro Paulo "The Freak" Almeida basically announced his retirement from the IFBB Pro stage.

    After recently getting married and starting a new business, is focus is elsewhere.

    But he will still be involved in the bodybuilding and fitness industry.

    he tore a bicep, and I thought maybe that's why he retired, but it looks good here...

    Shame, he was really good.

    Lacked back thickness and development, but I heard he had disk issues in his back.

    I saw him compete as an amateur and the size difference between him and the other people at the local shows here in BC was comical

    Paulo is such a nice dude, comes off almost "naively innocent" at times. Making a living off your "personality", you pretty much have to be a douchebag or drama-queen in some way or another, and I don't think that's in Paulo's DNA.

    True, he has the look, but not that WWE type of personality that reels in followers.
