If I did jump off a clip and post it on YouTube, it would get 1,000,000 x more likes then any of my bodybuilding stuff.

I prefer keeping my contest comebacks aligned with Bigfoot sightings.

Just like wearing a condom...SAFETY FIRST.

I know this post was a pathetic attempt at self-deprecating humor, but here's some serious 2 cents.

I still think it's great to compete at ANY AGE. I enjoy hearing/seeing guys like Ron going for a pro card via the masters.
But, that was never my dream. Nope, for me it's watching others compete and my own personal gains.
Since it's really personal, I have zero desire to compete on stage against other older guys.

Without boring you with trivial details, my main physique goal now is seeing 6 pack abs by next summer.
THAT involves healthy dieting, wt loss and plenty of heart pumping cardio.

My CONTEST plans are ONLY about attending good shows I'm interested in WATCHING.

Hope to finally meet/greet at a 2019 show.

me personally would like to leave my talent in its glory days, like in the 70's for you when you had your mustache and you defeated Lee Haney at the Teen Universe contest with a Frank Zane pose... when i'm 60 i dont plan i going to Yankees spring training and taking batting practice althou i still have a love for the game of baseball deep in my darkened heart

The only pose I could beat Lane Haney in, is THE STINKER

However, deciding to compete as an older masters, is a very personal choice.
I had my final swan song in a natural Texas show 22 years ago.
One of the judges said ; " It looked like your muscles exploded when you hit a most muscular."
That comment and my infamous Zane shot , was as good as it got for me.

Now , my only real motivation is great looking abs and doing cardio*
    * Sounds crazy, but gym cardio is something I enjoy and look forward to. Go figure.

FYI, love the major league baseball analogy.
I used a similar football analogy when a 61 yr old HS bro, lamented his slower 40 time .
He was convinced age and athletic performance was mind over matter.
I told him, he lost his mind , so reality didn't matter.

He laughed and remained convinced he could still run a 4.5-4.6 in his 60's.
I told him that was 30 years ago.
Again, he muttered , it was mind over matter.

So, I asked him how old his dad was, he replied , 90.
I told him , ok, if age doesn't matter, let's get your 90 yr old dad to run a 40 and see how he does.

Then, he sighed and said ;" Damn dude, that really bums me out."

    Reality strikes again.
