deepmar mentioned the Fleet Gym in Naval Station Yokosuka, Japan. That gym was pretty cool. The 2 gyms onboard the USS Independence weren't too bad, just over crowded. The gym at NAS North Island was alright. When I was stationed in Kauai, Hawaii the base gym weight room rocked. Some competitive powerlifters, bodybuiders semi-pro football players all trained there.

well choosing a best gym is very important as most of the gyms are running without any proper certifications and they say them selves as personal trainers . i have been attached with of a personal trainers London gym they guided me proper nutrition , exercises , and especial the time of the day when to work out or when not . so you must choose a best gym for your self

When I was on the USS Enterprise we had 2 gyms. 1 was a regular gym where everyone went. The other one a tiny ass space with nothing but old rusty free weights. I loved it, just the atmosphere there was great. The guys who lifted in there were the serious ones.

BIAP obviously has a fantastic gym, almost like walkin into a 24hr. Surprisingly Fallujah had a nice one too, but fallujah from what I understand is not under our controll anymore. TQ was good. The one in tent city Kuwait was phenominal but alas I did'nt get to use it that much

The gym by the Marne chow hall on Camp Victory was pretty bad-ass. Stateside, Holloman AFB has a nice one too.

The gym on annaconda was good, the one at TQ was great. Mcveigh is the best gym on Ft Lewis but nothing special. I like the gym on Oceana NAS. There's also a good one at Ft. Sill, but I don't know the name. Harvey Fitness center on Ft. Hood is one of the best gym's I've ever trained in and my personal favorite. No AC back in the day. If you weren't serious you went somewhere else. T

Olde Gym @ Naval Station San Diego, CA is a dungeon, of bodybuilders, and powerlifters. Its a small but close knit group. Ive learned a lot there. I love it. Good camaraderie. MCRD is good too. So it NSA Bahrain.
