Do 8 sets every workout as they add overall body mass plus they force your body into a testosterone and growth hormone state which inturn sets you up for a high intensity workout ,working the legs on the leg press ie go very heavy for 5/6 sets this also gives the same growth results .

Probably doesn't matter what day you do them on, as you long as you do them.
I've got better results from moving my grip in a little, quite close TBH. Mixed grip for me once I'm over 315, I'm right handed and my right has the underhand grip.
This is pretty much how I'm doing things at the moment, although in about a weeks time after my meet I will reset my technique. I need to drop my hips lower so I can incoporate more leg drive.

Since this clip was taken I've brought my hands in a bit closer together, feels better.

This may be a stupid question, but how do deadlifts work your back? For being the "best" exercise for you back, I dont see the translation into how your back grows from this. Sure glad it works tho lol.
Though the pain may come over you, never let it overcome you.

Sometimes after squats, sometimes on back day. I like doing them on my leg day but it is a terribly hard workout and takes alot out of me.

I'm bringing back deadlift into my back routine.
I wonder though, when I do my deads, would it compensate for roman chair or should I still keep it in a same day?
    What are you thoughts?

i think its wise to do them on back day primarily the 1st exercise or you could do them on the day that you're doing legs but i wouldn't suggest doing your deadlifts ilke you would on back day because you need strength for your squats as well. stiff leg deadlifts are a good choice or rack lifts but rack lifts require more heavier weight so i would stick with the stiff deads and leave the conventional deadlifting and rack lifts just for back day.

I used to do squat and deads on the same day. As I got stronger one lift would suffer . I prefer them on back day, with a few days rest from squat day. Either lift, if i train hard will wipe me out for a few days.

I sometimes like to do squats and deads together, maybe once a month or something like that (I know that Tjoe does as well). I think it's great for a competitive powerlifter to have tough days like that ~ it's what you're gonna get at the meet so why not try and condition yourself as best as you can for it? I like to make my training hard enough that the meet day is easy compared to training.

I set up my training in movement patterns. Or depending on the block, a day based off a certain lift. The body is a system not a collection of body parts. So for me deadlifts come off a posterior chain day, or a deadlift day. Like a powerbuilder some would say.
