    jeeze...

You know what i would LOVEto do..

Where you jump from the plane. Then they drop all your gear and your on your own to fight the fire. Survival of the Fittest. And in order to keep your certification you have to do so many jumps each week.

lol im using this thread for my thinking out loud sorry.

I believe the required score for FF is minimal pass. With ASVAB help books you should be in no problem.

Does the military have a psych test?

Don't want to make you blow your load, but they have something like that in the AF. It's in the infancy stage right now and is still undergoing testing but i was asked to be in the test group since I have jump status. The initial plan was to drop in FF with gear and ATV's fitted with pumps and water supply.

Why do you ask? Why ask here?

What are you trying to insinuate?

That could be taken as an insult...

I asked him about fire fighting and he said "there are no fire fighters..." i said odd... my friend was one...
(and no i am not a volunteer fire fighter...)

he said that i could dive in the army....he didnt mention the navy.

My fear is that im going to get "tossed to the side" because im a female... i know that wont really happen...but it still scares me. Thats why i want to go into this fully educated before i sign a thing.
You haven't even been to basic yet, don't worry about Ranger training. Most people quit or get tossed before they graduate outa that job...did I mention when you enter the training facility there is giant plaque with all the names of men that died while in Ranger training? That training , I wouldn't wanna go through that.

I made Best friends with the requiter who lives in Atlanta now...who just made some phone calls for me.

He thinks I should go into the army.
I actually just got off the phone with the army requiter.

But how do you know if your making the right decisions?!
I think thats what scaring me.
Do it. They tell me I will be signed by Tuesday! I'm excited, it is not for everybody but I'll tell you I just know it's right for me and where I want to be in 1,5 and 10 years from now.

Do you have an idea on what kind of job or reserves/active?
