    125 x 8
    155 x 5
    175 x 3
    195 x 1
    195 x 1
    195 x 1
    155 x 5*

    Deadlifts

    195 x 1
    195 x 1
    195 x 1
    155 x 5*

*This is just a bonus set for extra volume. Last time I did more, kind of "pushing it a little", but today I second guessed that. I am in NO hurry for anything. These movements feel shitty to me now period. Why push anything? The warm upas and singles felt better than last time. Thats all I want.

So today was a fasting day until training..
I was pretty hungry this morning until about 11:00am or so. After non I wasn't really hungry anymore. However, I was FREEZING all day! Not sure what any of that means, but I feel like I should be light tomorrow. We'll see I guess.
    Today was 186.4

Great fat loss, I wish I was getting 1/4 of your results.

How is your strength vs fat loss overall?

Thanks a lot! I appreciate it.
I always wish i were stronger as that is what I trained for for years. I'm weaker. But ti deserves a bit of explanation.
I'm about 10 years older than when I was at "MY" peak strength. I have plenty of tweaks, twinges and an umbilical hernia. So, my training doesn't remotely resemble what it did when training for strength. Take away 30+ pounds and my leverages are not as good either.
Its a mind game for me too so I try not to focus on weight because it would be easy for me to say "I'm too small and weak" and start eating everything in sight and training until I break something else. LOL

pretty good day. Energy seemed ok even after 21+ hours of fasting. Got home and slammed my shake, probably have eggs later. I am hoping to see a new low tomorrow although the body doesn't always work that way. We'll see How it goes. I was 186.0 today which is fine. I seem to hit a new low and then bounce around 1-2 pounds for a few days. No biggie as long as I am not doing anything different in my diet.
As much as I like seeing new lows, I'd also love to see my weight stabilize but continue to lean out... ain't that the dream!! LOL

New low by a lil bit:
    185.2 this morning.
Looking forward to some fasting tomorrow although not quite as long and "maybe" some cardio in the morning...
Hopefully a solid arm session in the afternoon with my training partner.

Did my first 24 hour fast ever yesterday.
I actually went from Wednesday at dinner till Thursday at dinner. And then all I ate from there was fat and protein.

Dude, I was miserable this morning. I could not function. Granted I am not doing keto so my body is not burning ketones. But that was very depressing today

SOOOO much easier on keto. What was the last meal before the fast? That can make a big difference too.

    Default Fasting/training day

    So today was pretty solid.
Woke up to a new low of 185.0
Sat around, had a black coffee and did the following:

    40 minute EMOM
    53lbs Kettlebell
    5 squats, 5 deadlifts
So I finished with 100 reps of each as I alternated between the two every set.
This was certainly pushing my fuel system as I was very close to not finishing. Any more weight or any more reps per set and I wouldn't have finished for sure.

    kept fasting

2:30 I hit the gym with a training partner for an arm session

I didn't write it all down but something like this:
    rope pressdowns
    seated alt db curl
    close grip bench
90 degree ez bar preacher curl
    quatnum triceps extension
    super set: db hammer curl/OHExt

went home and slammed my shake with carbs etc.
took the dog for a good 40 minute walk.

I'm at a funny point right now. I feel good, down about 28 pounds but still have solid amount of fat to go. Psyched to see where I end up though. I will certainly finish off the next 2 weeks with the shakes as I planned because I want to see how I respond. I figure 4 weeks will give me a good idea. IF I feel I need to keep dropping a little quicker "maybe" I'll take the shakes out. We'll see what the next 2 weeks bring...

183.6 this morning, certainly a new low.
I can't help but think that EMOM helped out a bit since it was pretty rough and I had another 5-6 hours to go before eating.
Watched another great video by DeLauer this morning and I'd kind of like to implement it after this next 2 weeks. But we'll see. Obviously what I am doing now is working pretty well so I'll have to see how I feel about it in two weeks time.

    This is said video:

    Don't remember. Lol
I'm sure it didn't have any carbs or at least not many.

I'm eating most of my carbs post workout.

I may go keto again once I eat all the carbs in the house. I'm not throwing them away.
