Hmm... I must be slow, I missed the humor. AK said to point the toes out more. I just explained why it's the other way around (point them forward as much as possible). Knees buckled "in" cause my hips are still a bit weak.

I actually was at that meet helping donnie (I benched the day before).

His foot position was one thing we were working on. With a mono you have to have them set just right when you take the weight out

His wasn't ideal at that meet. He needed to point his toes out a little further

Travis, do I have the right idea though? wanna check out my vid a few posts back and see if you have any pointers? Everything felt perfect, I just haven't "felt" anything near that heavy for about 3 years. Addison thinks I should point my feet out more, I think a bit less (just have to get stronger). Thanks!

Yes you do have the right idea. I would try pointing your toes out just like half an inch and see if that helps keep your knees out. You had the strength out of the hole but you lost it all when your knees came in.

Squatting off a box wouldn't hurt either. The box will help you be able to focus on your knees.

Also try not bending over quite as much. Sit back, not over. Technically speaking you are very very close. Just need to fine tune a tad

AS A FBB, I DO ABOUT 315 FOR 5Xs. MY LEST WAS 295 BEFORE I BROKE MY INNIER ANKEL BACK N '98 THEN WENT UP TO 305, NOW 315BLES IN SQUATS.

Awesome! 315 for 5s is pretty good Sister. As a BBer, I imagine you typically work in a higher rep range? I would think maybe 225?

No, apparently it's Craig Gallo. If I am right, guys, you've got a real POWERHOUSE speaking here. Or it's just another teenage impostor trying to brawl about virtual poundage.

    what's your max squat?

ATG squat? Or the half squat allowed in some feds? I've done both, and the latter is by far (and by a lot of heavy pounds) more flattering to my ego. There can be a 100lb difference between the two. Not the same animal. At all.

hit 565 tonite in a single ply suit with lots left in the tank, there is no way I will not squat 600 at my next meet.
