    445 Gym lift and 420 in comp, all raw no belt

    alright i have a question fro all you bench monsters....
    do any of you overhead press, push press, clean and jerk? if yes, does the benching help or hinder you?

    I do overhead press on shoulder day and clean and jerk on back day. It seems to help alot since switching programs (with the help of a Strongman).

    yeah when the school starts i have a friend to spot me there, his spotting will help a lot imho. i dont have the courage to get under heavy stuff. i dropped some weight 2 times when i was little lol

    military dumbell presses every chest day after chest. 100 lbs each hand for 8 on my last set.

    thanks! Not sure, always competed in bodybuilding, this is very new to me. Trying to find a meet that is raw and is sanctioned, early spring would be ideal. Never thought about strongman, at 5'4" I don't think I would have a very good leverage advantage, especially when putting those stones up high!

    there are a lot of strongman comps without stones.

    550 raw when I was 34 years old and about 260lbs.
    Now I don't bench so I have no idea.
