Just hammer those tris and work on your technique in the shirt. Good luck and be sure to keep us posted in your thread!

    Thanks guys!

LOL yeah I expected to feel more beat up than I was, but I actually made it into the gym the next afternoon and by Wednsday was hitting PRs again on the bench. No rest for the weary!

At the time I was squatting only 500lbsx2-3 reps LOL so it was funny. Bench press was my gift from above - and now my curse as I need a complete shoulder replacement surgery I use to behind the neck shoulder press 315 for reps
    That's an awesome raw bench!!!

Thanks...my shoulders are paying the price NOW though LOL Man, when I think back to how much I could bench it blows my mind. It was my "gifted lift"....I believe we ALL have a gifted lift...one that comes very easy and you can put up big numbers. Be it squats, or bench or even pushdowns or chins....we all have that one easy lift. Mine was bench press...I could bench 250lbs for 3x10 when I was 17 my first year of serious training, now I need a complete shoulder replacement surgery. Is it from all the heavy benching? probably....but I also use to do lots of dips, behind the neck shoulder presses AND behind the neck pulldowns (hey it was the late 80's early 90's and we didn't know any better LOL)....so those probably messed me up too.

Oh well, I can still squat like a muther fuker LOL

4 so far. The place I go now, after going to others first, is called Sports Medicine Specialists and they are the Toronto Maple Leafs team doctors, some Toronto Argonaut Football players go there, Varisty blues (university level football/hockey) so they know how to deal with athletes. I had an MRI done 3 years ago and it was BAD then. I've had a scope done by one of Canada's top surgeons specializing in shoulders and kness and that's where the real damage was spotted. I will say though that I've successfully kept the surgery at bay for 3 years and I'm in great shape and feeling great training 3-4 times/week....I just can't press heavy...so what right.

What do they say the likelihood is of you pressing after the replacement surgery?
