Well the gym workers have been going through the gym and putting weights away.
Like bench presses and stuff, they would put that weights away. I made a rare
afternoon appearence one time and this lovely lady that I drool over sometimes
didn't notice that I had my notebook right next to the V-squat and proceeded to
put the weights away as well.

I think the dumbells are the real problems and not the weights being left on the
machines/bench presses. I should just charge LA Fitness for a re-weighting fee!

    lol

    The sign has worked wonders!

Now, if they would just make a sign about throwing the weights.

We have several who GRUNT and then THROW.

That gets on my nerve. Not all my nerves, just the gym nerve!

    Lightbulb It Will Happen

I used to hate it when people would tell me it will happen when you least suspect it.

Now, it can be any number of things.

But when youíre looking for something, youíre always suspecting it, hoping for it, waiting for itÖ.wanting itÖ.obsessing about it!

(Surely, I would not do this?!)

But I have learned that it really is true.

When I got stuck at 206 pounds for three months, devastation set in. That soon turned the milestone of losing 50 pounds into cement block holding me at the bottom of the ocean.

My weight loss partner finally stopped asking me how much I had lost every week. Iím sure he grew weary of the puppy-eyed look I carried.

I wanted to quit so bad come that second month of stuck-dom!

But one day, at my lowest, I took note of my children.

I watched as Micah read the back of a package of Doritos and then proceeded to could out 17 chips! (God love him!)

    He was watching his mom.

He was picking up a habit.

And heart disease runs in his dadís family.

Right then and there I made a decision. My boys needed to see me eat healthy, even if I never lost another pound.

And so I marched on, and for the next month, I didnít even weigh.

I wasnít doing this for a number, I was just doing it.

And when I least expected it, the scale not just moved, but moved big.

And of course, love is this way too.

I was always, always, always looking for that! (Yíall can all shut-up! Itís a girl thing!)

Except there was this one day, of all days, that I wasnít looking for it.

I was working. I was busy. I was concentrating. I just didnít have time to think about it. For once, it was the farthest thing from my mind!

    And there he was.

I still hate the phrase it will happen when you least suspect it, because I think it only tells half the story.

Really and truly, you have to learn to really enjoy the moment you are in because you canít rush things. You just have to enjoy where you are now in order to recognize it when you stumble across it or work your way toward it, because it will just happen.

i always felt the same way when people would say it to me too... the big IT!

But you are right, when we are so consintrated on IT, the real IT is happening all around us every day... sometimes being so focused on one thing causes me to miss out on other its lol over the past couple weeks i have tried to open my eyes, still stay focused on goals, but realize that IT is everywhere

We only have once bench in this one room at my gym...the main room. There is a guy who uses it to put his stuff on every day at noon. Like his keys, wallet, etc... As if nobody is going to need to sue the bench that entire hour?!

She rides a motorcycle, she looks half native ummmm and my friend
at the gym calls her Xena Warrior Princess. I talk to her sometimes.
A few to choose from at the gym since I am not the one that likes
to goto bars and pick them up.

Oh and I finally slipped up and said to my other friend's wife "Adina" instead
of Deena. I knew it was going to happen and it happened this morning.

For me...I always thought I was looking all the time. Really...ALL the time. But really, I wasn't looking. All of a sudden I look up, and BANG!

And nothing has ever been the same since!

Girl...I think you need to ask him about his grooming habits down there.

I would! It takes some special grooming to pull off that look.

I would also ask him does he have one in every color...like even metallic, glittery ones.

Exactrly. Nights are long at my gym. Also, everyone feels the need to grunt like they are Kai Greene squatting seven plates.

You should go at 4:00 in the morning like I do.

Trust me...no one is making noise at that time!
