This was sent to MD and I thought it was appropriate to post it here for Vic to see:

Victor, I just read the interview in the new MD magazine. I could not read
your story and just walk away from it without expressing my condolences for
your loss and my admiration for your resolve in the face of such life
changing events. What an amazing story of strength and perseverance! My
heart is truly touched by your story. I have been following body building
closely for the past year and saw you compete at the Arnold classic this
year. Through your videos on MD and other bodybuilding videos, I learned
more about your story and gained some helpful insights for my own workouts.
I think body building is one of the most difficult sports to compete in. It
takes a strong individual with discipline and an enduring drive to be the
best. I truly admire you and all of your peers that are competing in the
    Olympia this year.

After reading your interview today I realized that all the bodybuilding
stuff is overshadowed by the strength and character you have displayed in
the face of numerous trials in your life. I honestly cannot imagine facing
all the adversity and losses you have faced in recent years. My heart broke
for you as I read of your most recent loss. I lost my brother 9 years ago in
an unexpected car accident. We were also very close. He was my protector and
best friend. It sounds as though in many ways your sister was your
protector, best friend, and like a mother all in one. She sounds like a
truly beautiful woman. Although I will never know the extent of your
relationship with her and the loss you feel deep inside, from my own
experience I would imagine that it is more difficult than you could ever
verbalize. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us. It was truly an
honor to read about something so close to your heart.

The best part of your story is that it doesnâ?Tt end here. Your courage and
drive to continue in the Olympia for your sister is an inspiration. If I
didnâ?Tt have any preference regarding who will win the Olympia this year,
that has certainly changed today. I wish you all the best! Again, thank you
for sharing your sister with us and my deepest condolences for your loss.

    Hello Victor!!!

You have got to be my no.1 fav bodybuilder man, just love your personality and you really seem like a great guy. Plus not to mention a bloody awesome body!

Firstly let me say i am truely sorry for the lose of your sister, i feel for you...i really do.

    Just a quick question:

In your trenches vids you say you do 10 reps. Has that been something you have always gone by? even when you first started getting into bodybuilding and didn't have the size. Or did you go low reps 6-8 and after you gained your sized switched to 10?

    Thanks and god bless!

I am rooting for Victor Martinez 2010 Mr.O!!!!

Some of us can't go more than a couple hours without a computer - others could just as easily live without one. I don't think Victor likes to sit in front of a screen for hours and hours like some of us!

He's the best, hands down. Hany took a "finished" Jay Cutler, who Victor beat in 07' and had him looking his best ever. No one has a better combo of size and symetry then Victor and I think Hany can bring him in shredded.

im new to this I have no idea what im doing.Victor is my favorite bodybuilder. He brings to mind the scene in pumping iron where ARNOLD is posing for some prisoners or something and this chubby guy says you got a beautiful body man.Victor is AWE inspiring think about his hand on hip most muscular awesome pic of that in MD i stared at many times to get my fat ass to do some CARDIO(so boring).i too was inspired by 80s wrestlers like The Warrior, Rick Rude,Lex Luger,Sting.I was curious who he thought was the most complete and or balanced bodybuilding wrestler(LUGER gets my vote) Ron Harris should chime in too. I also was wondering if VICTOR has any more unique lifts like his DB LATERAL PARTIALS?Also what is VICTORs opinion of HEAVY DUTY/Yates/Arthur Jones training there all different I have used traditional HIT to get Hella strong(for me i mean.THANX YOU ARE THE TRUE VICTOR KEEP YOU R HEAD UP CANT RAIN ALL THE TIME
