HANY I LOVE HIT TRAINING AND I HAVE GOTTEN VERY STRONG WITH IT BUT EVERYONE ELSE IS VOLUME TRAINING OR USING YOUR SYSTEM HOW CAN IGET THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
Hany, what happened to Manny Torres at hte last night Nationals?
He was in the HW class and was lost in the crowd and did not placed, I saw him and he was not as sharp as he always present himself in the LHW class.
I think he got the potential to be a great 202 Pro.
I been a fan of him since he was in a pictorial article in MD with the Stingey Arde and Fahry Mubarak, training biceps.
I saw him placing since 3 years ago in the top 5 in the LHW class but he needs the extra push to finnaly make it.
What do you think?
1st place at the MW class at the NPC Tim Gardner Extravaganza Tampa, FL.
Yo Hany, when's your dvd slated to release? I have been looking forward to getting a copy of that!!!
For updated status on the dvd check on www.hanyrambod.com
I did not work with Manny this year. He told me that he was trying something new and wanted to see how he would do at the Heavy weight class without having do go down to LHW. I think looking back at it he wishes he came in tighter but once again I think he was experimenting with a different look. Manny is a great guy and an awesome competitor. I'm sure he'll nail it soon.
Hany
Sometimes you have to sacrafice a little bodyfat to increase overall size. I'm not telling you to become a fat pig but it doesn't look like your too far out of shape for a proper offseason for the pics. Just keep building up your weaker bodyparts and get stronger!
Good Luck

There is no reason you should change something that is not broken. If your getting great gains for your current system use it until you plateau, then you can incorporate another program or hybrid training style. Some have used a front loaded FST-7 exercise then finished with 3-4 HIT exercises depending on the size of the body part.
I appreciate you taking the time to respond. What is your opinion of the HIT style in general?I ask because sometimes i wonder if my 2 exercises per bodypart are really enough.i lean more JONES style than Dorian

hey hany, i just got done trying dc training, n i got some great strength gains from it but i need some more volume to add some size. so i vm thinking of trying your fst-7. no im a natural bodybuilder and i was wondering should i only do fst-7 on 2 of my weakest bodyparts or since i want to bring up everything can i do it on all bodyparts? n my recovery is pretty much average.
hey hany, i just finished dc training, got good strength but need more volume for size so i was going to try your fst. now im a natural bodybuilder n with normal recovery. i was wondering should i just do it to 2 of my weakest bodyparts or since im trying to bring up everything, do it for every bodypart?
Coming from DC training you should increase the volume of sets gradually......and choose a couple of bodypart to bring up with FST7and let them to work and let your body&CNS to adapt. After 4-6 weeks you could do FST7 to all the bodyparts following the general Hany's guidelines
After working with Kevin what did you change carb wise. RIght now I am getting in a round 2.25-2.5 grams of carbs per pound with the majority pre and post workout. Also, how do you feel about carb supplements like waxy maize? Did you have kevin incorporate any carb supplements around workouts or did you just use more food carbs. For example say I got in 280 carbs a today, 70 would be pre workout, 40 grams waxy post workout, another meal with 50-60 grams sometime later, another meal later in the day with around 50, dinner would be slightly lower around 40 grams, then before bed a shake with mainly protein and some fats and something like 20 grams carbs. I get in about 45 grams of fiber, have 2 servings of veggies a day, 1-2 servings of fruit (usually bananas or raisins post workout), and 80-90 ounces of water along with 180 grams protein and 60 grams fat (I only weigh 121).
