    If memory serves, I was using 90 pound dumb bells on the flys.
    I lost concentration, it slipped, I tried to regain control instead of just letting it drop.
    Bad decision.

    I have some stiffness in my shoulder and it aches from time to time.

    Prior to any exercise that involves my shoulders, flys, bench, military press ect. I do rotator cuff warmups and then use the bar for a warm up set of 25 reps.

    I also have backed off the weight on benches, dumb bell flys and military presses from what I used prior to the injury.

    I stay well within my limits.

    Ouch!
