Hey thanks for the response, you were built for this sport. Im 35 yrs old I started a little late in the game, but getting stronger, and alot bigger. Any advice on decent/solid Multi Vit. And i take glutamine, protein and eat 3-4 times a day. Any Powerlifting advice you can give me? As far as workouts etc? Our equipment is limited, but we have built, basic Bench press, decline, incline, squat rack, and dips, and pull up bars. We have no gym, so all of our weights are outdoor use. I watched all your wrkout vids, and you are "The Phenom" and wish you great success in the future, Thanks

When i was power lifting, i stuck to doing real low reps. The highest i would go would be 5 reps. I mostly stick to 3s.

cool thread. You look insane, you have a similar thick massive early Nasser,Mike Francis type build. You posted earlier that in your powerlifint days your sets rarely exceeded 5 reps. Did you build most of your mass during that phase of training?

but next month i might go 6-8 then after that month i might switch it to
12-15 first set then 10-12 then 6-8 then my last set 4-6 for that 1 month

Usually i do 15-20 reps my 1st set, just to get warmed up and pumped. My 2nd and 3rd set is usually 10-12. My forth set i try to get 10, but sometimes i get 8 or even 6. Just try to go heavy as i can my last set. You got to go by feel.

Well since I just did the Nationals at the end of Nov, I have been chillin and relaxin. I am enjoyin my time with my family and friends. I will be out of town visiting family for Christmas and enjoyin the holiday. I am still training and doing cardio, but not like I would be for a show. My diet is still pretty clean but I have been enjoyin my holiday meals and parties. I will get back on it the first of the year.

Trey, I am thinking about giving epozine by bsn a try. I was just wondering if you could tell me a little bit about your experience with this product?

You have to go with your heart. My heart was into training, power lifting then into bodybuilding. But don't get me wrong, i still love football.

When i started taking epozine i got the craziest pump ever. I got real vascular and hard and could really feel the effects. I had more endurance and better recovery.

Leading to a show, What's the amount of cardio would you do on a consistent basis to get real shredded? and what type-heart rate-levels etc..?

At the peak of my cardio i was doing 2 50min sessions 6 days a week. I was doing a lot of interval training. Like on the treadmill, i would do 5min at 3.5 speed, then 5 min at 2.5 speed.

Cheers for the reply to my question Trey

alot of the guys over my neck of the woods tell me training 5/6 times a week is better in building the size everyone wants

how many days a week do you reckon is best to train??

(I personally think 5-6 days a week is works just FANTASTIC , if you recuperate adequately, with enough amount of protein and carbs).
