I'm starting to lean towards dogs. Can cat's really make you sick or is that just propaganda?

My mother got a fungus from kittens we had. It was like a sore that wouldn't heal so we took her to the doc and he told us it was from the kittens..she is the only person I've ever heard of it happening to.

dogs are adorable and trust people very easily because they themself are trustworthy .

had a big dog so it only lived 10 years
raised it from birth
bottle-fed it
watched it die sllloooooowwwwwwwww
never forget that glassy eye

dogs are like children that never grow up
always dependent
get themselves killed without you
don't think i could go through that every ten years

cats wander off when their time approaches
don't want to burden you with their carcass
when they start to become useless, they vanish
you can choose to believe some old lady let them in but never let them out
they are still alive somewhere eating lobster out of a dessert dish
i can respect that

the 'being able to walk with your hips dislocated' thing is pretty cool too.
