    Irritable Bowel Syndrome ?

Hey here's a question Adam...my arms are a real bitch to build, my diet is straight for bulking and everything is covered, but still the arms don't wanna grow.

I've been doing full pyramids, dropsets, rest/pause, low volume/high weight and nothing seems to really do the trick, my arms are never sore.

You can try a few different things, imo.

One thing I would try is to pick 2 exercises, one for bis and one for tris, superset them with no rest, do 10 sets each, 20 reps. In 20 minutes you will do over 200 reps and have a hellva pump. I would try to do iso-movements for this as well. After seeing your pic, I would also do single arm cable pushdowns with a rope as you need to bring your tris up to exceed your bis. 4 sets, 15 reps, little rest, then try some kickbaks to kill them! 30-40 minutes and your arms should be fried.

On the flip side, you could also try the 5x5 scheme, but incorporate 5 second pauses when you contract at the top for bis and the end of tris. The sqeezes should give you unreal pumps! Use heavier weights since you're only doing 5 reps per set. You should only have to do 2 movements each, but if you can do 3, go ahead.

Let me know how this goes for ya.

That sounds like one hellva a super set...thanks for the advice.

How does this look for a full arm routine based on what you posted.

    Ezbar BB Curls(4 sets/15 reps)

    Superset (10 sets/20 reps)
    Alternating DB Curls/Overhead Cable Extensions

Single Arm Cable Pushdowns(4 sets/15 reps)

DB Kickbacks(Dropsets-5 sets/Max reps to failure)

I did alot of the 5x5 with no real difference, but didn't incorporate the full squeeze.

I assume for supersets and the stuff you mentioned first, you suggest to keep the weight static right?

Lemme know what ya think, the input is much appreciated, gotta grow these twigs

    Adam,

is it possible to have either :

    A) uneven/differently developed traps from mixed grip deadlifting

    or

    B) have one arm longer than the other from mixed grip deadlifting

    or

    C) both
    ????

i think i might have that problem...or am i just crazy?

I always use a double overhand grip for these reasons stated above.

When you use an alternate grip, the underhand is gonna be a half inch lower than the overhand for sure, if not more, For every reaction there is a complete and opposite reaction. I believe over time the differences could become noticeable, but not by much.

The mechanics of moving weight like that makes no sense to me. But, that is just my opinion.

Adam, do you watch man vs. food?

if so, did you see the season premiere?

if not, he ate a 12 egg omelet topped with beef chili, 1.5 lbs of potatoes and two big ass biscuits.

do you think you could eat all that in under an hour? (srs question)

i think i might be attempting it next week.

That's an awesome show, I almost threw the hell up when he ate a shitload of icecream on one show...

I could handle 12 eggs and chili and potatoes, the biscuits would take me down.
