As I said, from the back, Mike's hams and Glutes were better. I am not referring to the condition of his hams and glutes, I am referring to their development. Mike has superior hams, glutes, quad and back development to Roelly.

IF he was more peeled he would've been third, but everything put together Roelly had a slight edge due to conditioning (the both have strong and weak points, Mike's Tri's and delts are non existant next to Roelly's if you want to play that game)
Still, Mike had better overall devlopment, along with vastly superior devlopment from the rear. Mike's weaknesses are not nearly as prevalent as Roelly's, although it all depends on the judges. It easily could've gone differently somewhere else. As you said yourself, Mike would've been given 3rd if he were more conditioned. That means Mike has better overall development, which he does.

This is the only reason I feel he should've placed 3rd, in addition to the fact that I do NOT think he was badly conditioned at all; just not as much as Roelly.

+ Roelly has much more of a wow factor than Mike, agreed that there shouldn't be judged on the wow factor...It's played a role in the entire history of professional bodybuilding. but in my opinion (and also of many others) Roelly edged Mike slightely out...
As well, many people feel Mike should've won, maybe more. Yes, The WOW factor matters, but Roelly's superior lines, aesthetics, and condition (in most areas), in additon to his arms, are what drew the Judges in on this one.

Really? Look at a dictionary Lifepulse, as we all know that attaching "semi" to the beginning of a word does NOT mean inaccurate, but rather, according to the dictionary definition, is defined as.........

A latin word meaning "half" and freely pre-fixed to any word of English origin, with the meaning of "partially", "somewhat", or "incompletely".

In other words, it's proper use is exactly as I have used it, which means that I inferred that my analogy was "partially" accurate, as I could not think of a better one right off the top of my head. Regardless, it wasn't necessary, as it conveyed my point "accurately".

So, the next time you make an ass of yourself by ripping on the "proper" use of a pre-fix in someone' post (LOL), look it up in the damn dictionary. So, it appears YOU are the one who is "not accurate".

I mean, Mike, you are a good writer (mostly)
Remember, no one here is proof-reading their posts (not all the time, at least), which means that spelling errors, sentence structure and grammer can all be shaky, especially if one is an non-proficient typer . In addition, sometimes we just don't give a shit and don't feel like "correcting" a poorly written paragraph, especially when we're ass tired, as long as the point gets through. So, who really gives a shit whether I am a good or not so good writer...no one here does!

, and fairly good at arguing, but sometimes, unfortunately, you come off as the most rationalizing douche I've ever had the misfortune of reading-- a shame, given how close-to-smart you seem at times.
Thanks! I am glad I have met your definition of "close to smart".

Sometimes you just need to back down the over-the-top intensity of your arguments about 5%,
Why? I am who I am and it is NOT going to change. If someone can't handle a simple fucking internet debate about BB'rs, I would hate to see how they handle real life situations that actually matter!

and quit with some of the needless name-calling, and you might actually get a few people to agree with you here and there.
I have an ass-load of people that agree with me every damn day on this site. My PM's are at fucking 400 right now over just a couple of months, with about 100 of them unanswered because I don't have the time.

You see, the thing is, I don't call people names unless I am attcaked first. I have a lot of respect for a lot of people here and have numerous friends that feel likewise. I may attack what I feel is an assinine post, but I don't attack the individual. It is only when people can't handle criticism of their posts of opinions, that I get called names and in turn, they get theirs. Look at any incident and you will see this is true.

Sorry, but this is a fucking BB'ing forum which is ALL about opinions. If someone can't handle someone disagreeing with them, maybe they shouldn't post. Fortunately, most people here understand this an don't let this shit get to them.

On other forums, my attitude is MUCH different; much less argumentative. Do you EVER come to the Chem-E section. If you did, you would see that I have a good amount of respect for everyone there (unless they are straight morons, which there aren't too many) and am always willing to help everyone with whatever they need.

Not that this has anything to do with the placings at the Austrialia, I just am getting sick of you thinking you're the only individual with a brain on these boards.
Wrong again! There are plenty of intelligent people on this forum that I have a lot of respect for. Personally, I really don't give a fuck about what you think. If you don't like my posts, don't fucking read them! For someone that is getting tired of "reading" my posts, why in the hell are you still reading them? Doesn't make a lot of sense, does it?

Usually, it's the guys that don't take my shit and post back, but actually have legitimate rebutals to offer, that gain my respect. It's the "your a douche, go suck a dick" posters that don't gain my respect. I can take any amount of harsh talk in the world, but you better have a good fucking point that is relevant to the thread!

You can spare yourself this whole stressfull online situation through bypassing my posts.

The strongly opinionated will always take heat because they are expected to not stir the shit. Look at GFR. Smart guy. A lot of people hate him, but an equal amount love him. Did you ever notice it's always the one's who can't handle any type of pressure or criticism that end up hating him. In other words, it's the guys that take this shit so seriously that they can't see that this is all here just for fun. Why do most of the more intelligent, bolder and more influential one's usually end up liking him? I'll let you figure that one out while you realize that you are NOT the MD police.

In the mean time, thnaks for the comment. People like you make No-bull more fun.

we can more or less agree then
I think in the long run Roelly has more potential than Mike though, that also could be a factor for the judges

Mike A. is good people. Never have seen or witnessed anything remotely negative from him. For the most part he helps those in need...that speaks volumes for his personality and manner.

    Default LISTEN UP!!

I am a firm believer that Phil Heath should have walked away with the Arnold this year...just because Kai overdoses on that shiny shit dont mean he was better conditioned...on another note (kais australia win)... i understand dexter jackson is the fucking man but if you wanna bang with the big boys you gotta bring it and dex just dont got the wheels to bang with monsters like phil, kai, jay, branch... his wheels are elementary compared .. sure they have beautiful separartion from the side but when it comes to banging thighs... shit just aint there...as for Roelly Winklaar i think hes the man ... winning amateur arnold then coming out with a bang in 2010..awesome i like this guy

    Thanks brother.

Some guys just don't understand that this forum is a debating forum, where people have varrying opinions on BB'rs. If you challenge or disagree with their opinion, a few of them get pissed.

Much appreciated though bro, good to see you posting here.

Yeah I post every where haha. Pretty much...need to get me a dog so I can start postin on MD pets =). But you are right...it is bodybuilding...a sport judge mainly on opinion. The Judges have their opinions and they put those opinions into scored numbers. Its not like football or basketball where they score points. We all have opinions...if you cant take someone elses opinion into consideration then leave. Cause on a forum based majorly on opinion...you will never get away from the ones you think are wrong. No one is right...no one is wrong.

Yeah, that wasn't the back we saw at the Arnold. Perhaps it's what his trainer said. He needs to work on his posing.

    He looks like Will Harris.

Uhhhh?....I guess he should just stay in that ghetto apartment then, right? LOL.

No need to better himself or invest, might as well stick it out in the hood; nice and comfortable.

Kai finished all of his Photo's on the East Coast, so he wont be California Dreamin this year!

That said, the last two weeks look like this for the Predator:

    ASC Winner: $130,000
    Best Poser: $10,000
    Watch: $20,000

    Australian Pro Winner: $10,000

    Total: $160,000.00 USD
    * Olympia 2010 Qualified!

Good job Kai, the Olympia is within your sights valued at $200,000 but Historically "Priceless!"
That $160,000 puts him in the 28% tax bracket, which means if all of that income is taxable he owes the government $56,860 so far. And that doesn't include the state of New York. I would be interested to know if bodybuilders can write off as a deduction the money they spend on food, since it is business related. Expenditures for traveling are write-offs if business related.

Yes, it is and its business related the way Make up would be for a Model.

So does that mean you pros take food expenses as an itemized deduction. For business related meals and entertainment (taking a client out to dinner), the IRS allows you to write off half of it. The price also has to be reasonable, and "directly related to or associated with the conduct of a trade or business." I agree with you Shawn, meals should be a business expense, and more than just 50%, because these meals aren't for entertaining clients, but as a necessity of the business. It's just that you never know with the IRS.
