THen I say, now what qualities do you have that a great guy like that would put his time and effort into you? "they get me" they reply. And I'll be like, "ok, I'm sure you're a nice person, but what's that mean? you do gymnastic positions in bed or you got some fantastic characteristic that would make a man love you?" Most times I'll get a laugh from them as they haven't thought that far down the line. All they've thought about is what they want.
Although I'm married, I think being fit(on some level) says you're capable of discipline. I just read in MD last night while doing bi.s that a lady weight 265, at 5-1 lost like a hundred, 55 pounds. She's legally blind and has never driven. But looks fantastic. It wasn't an advertisement, it was one of those write-in stories for MD. The Jay Cutler cover one from a couple months back. Anyways, that's the kind of chick my wife is. That's what I respect. Let's face it, men are arroused by great looking curves. I don't need muscles, just a sweet looking hottie. Actually, I'm not a muscles guy, although I do respect the discipline chicks put into making themselves contest ready. I respect anything that requires discipline like being a Christian. LOL, Oh yeah, boujah, sucked you in with my story, you knew I'd end up here!!!
Right on! Great post! But you HAD to preach there at the end didn't ya?? LOLLL! RUNIED it!

"The Universe, God, The Creator- whatever you choose to call it wants us to have this success. If not, it would have never fused us with the DESIRE to do this.

Our victory already exists in the world of thought because we had the idea. Our objective is to pull it from the thought world into it's physical realization. The ONLY thing that can stop that from occurring is thoughts of fear and doubt. The two strongest enemies to hope and faith.

Let all that go because any of that doubt energy could seep into the project and be felt by those viewing. When we call action- it's on. We are on assignment! No one can do this better than us- if so, it would have been done already."

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

I wrote a little blog article on this. How many people post little cutsy slogans/points of wisdom and actually abide in what they are saying verses blabbing it out in order that others would follow? Many times I see it as a display for fireworks. When it goes up and out it looks and sounds amazing and people will AWWWW over it because it sounds so swelling but just as fast as it went up and out it quickly dies. Is this just human nature?

I get a kick out of the ones that are business oriented. They tend to be several lines long and usually when it comes to wisdom if it ends up over 2 lines long the readers attention fades away.

I, for one, have seen this kind of positive thinking (coupled with the work required) bear fruit for myself and others. But you are right, many talk the talk without doing the work. I'm sure that's true for all philosophies.
