    All those carbs won't make you gain muscle, if you cut them in half & make room for some meat then you will start to grow!!!

    No disrespect but you have it backwards. Once your protein requirements for the day have been met any additional is of no value and will only store as fat. Now carboHYDRATE means exactly that HYDRATION of the muscle cell. Carbs store in a muscle cell as air does in a balloon. The more air in the ballloon the larger it becomes. Carbs along with proper fat intake is the ONLY thing that increaes muscle cell size. Your advice is for LOSING weight not gaining weight. If it were the case then we would all gain weight during contest dieting since the Protein is at its highest. Remember, If your diet alone WITHOUT training wont add weight ,good or bad, then adding caloric CARBOHYDRATE BURNING expenditure to it is a sure way not to gain any weight. In fact you might go backwards. I see it all the time. Guys use contest dieting protocols for muscle gaining purposes.

    right now I'm throwing down about 600 on lifting days and about 800 on my Sat. workout day (priority bodypart)

    yea i try to maintain enough carbs to keep me goin but i honestly dont really count my carbs

    wow, I am High!!! I'm around 800carbs, pro is around 325 to 400 fats really low dont count those to much but low!!!

    im taking in about that much.i weigh around 192 going for 200.i have noticed i can eat 2500 calories or 4000 like now and i keep getting better with no fat

    i weigh 210lbs, so i have about 480g of carbs a day, abit less on non training days.
