    I tend to keep my carbs pretty much even with protein unlike the majority who have carbs a bit higher. I go for about 400g in a day, possibly a bit higher on leg or back days, it depends really. Protein is also usually a bit higher than 400g with the incomplete proteins and amino acids blends.

    hey anssi, have you ever read that article by volpi that showed a decreased protein synthetic response when elderly people ate a mixed meal as oppossed to protein alone? Just picked it up today... pretty friggin' interesting

    When bulking I consume around 750 carbs a day.

    I can only stay on that carb load for about 4 maybe 5 weeks at a time though, then I seem to become Hypo... so I lower down for a week or two, and then back up.

    3000 cal per day, 100 carbs on training days, 70 on non-training days.

    I am between 350-400 a day, its all oatmeal, and brown rice. I mix ground turkey or ground beef in with the rice after its all cooked so it easier to get down.

    Structureally i'm not a big guy, or naturally strong, my joints are almost the same size as my wifes, so if I do not eat high carbs my strength sucks.
    But by doing so I have managed over the years to go from 6-2 160 pounds, to around 235-240 pounds currently and have been as heavy as 270 pounds no more than 15%BF. Still have abs, just not etched and seperated.
