The 2010 NPC New England Bodybuilding, Figure, Fitness and Bikini Championships is to be held at the John Hancock Center in Boston, Mass. Jay Cutler, Kevin English and Jose Raymond to Guest Pose.

Don't miss this awesome show as new and up and coming amateur bodybuilders compete to be seen and then move on to the Regional and National Level.

i'll be there all day. Ron i gotta get a photo with you. i'm gonna post photos on here this weekend. i'll be either in a white Powerhouse Gym hoodie or black T Vigs t shirt. say hi and grab a photo with me if you want.

I just heard he's filming an In the Trenches with Jay Cutler working out with Kevin English and he's going to get another with Kevin English working out with Jose Raymond.

I would have to ask. I honestly don't know.

Only thing I know about Boston is good beer, tea party and Jose Raymond lives around there somewhere and oh, don't forget Cheers and the Red Sox.

If you found out where they are going to film would you PM me?
I'd love to see that happen and since I have to get a work out in between pre and evening I could try kill 2 with one stone.

We might have to rely on you and Dan for some tips on gyms - I know the South Shore, Jose knows the North Shore, but the city of Boston itself I don't know. There is a nice Gold's on Lansdown Street across from Fenway that Janet used to train at. . .

Hey Ron. I think that Gold's on Landsdown might be your best bet if you're trying to keep it in close proximity to the show. There's a Boston Sports Club on Boylston Street walking distance from John Hancock Hall, but I'm not sure what kind of approval/clearances you'd need to film there. I could make a couple of calls and ask about it, but since it's the company I train for, I know that everything requires a ton of corporate approval, and I don't know how long that would take.

I train at a different Gold's Gym on weekends in Somerville/Cambridge Area. It's not bad, but not great. They have 2 squat racks, but no power rack, 2 smith machines, but one is on a slant and only reserved for smith squats, dumbbells go up to 120 with a secret pair of 140's in a closet, and there's like 6 flat benches. It has a little more of a "hardcore" feel to it, minus the crowd. My BSC is in Central Square in Cambridge, and it has some decent equipment, but space is a little tight for filming and a photoshoot. BSC Wellington would probably be the best place in terms of size, Gold's in Somerville is a little more bodybuilder-friendly, and I haven't seen Gold's on Landsdowne, but it's close to the show, and if Janet can vouch for it, that might be the spot. Let me know if you want me to make a couple of phone calls about any of the BSC's.

Yeah I saw that!
The poster was made up before the Olympia and I guess they didn't want to reprint because it was still the same poster at Bev's last weekend.

and by the way:
There are PLENTY of Planet Fitness around here I'm sure they would love to have you all!
