Do you have any regrets or just using it as motivation to get back on stage?
Definately regretting not doing it, but I just have too much going on and too many bills with the house I just bought. Looking at the pictures again I think 3rd would probably be more realistic than 2nd, but a top 5 finish nevertheless. Its hard to say though until you step on stage next to those guys. The pictures at Jr's that we see RARELY do anyone any justice.

True. I've heard this (bold) before many times so I'll take your word for it. There's always next year.

it buffles me every day how much of how we place (or even compete at all for that matter) has to do more with where we are at financially and emotionally at any given time than with what our bodies are capable to physically achieve

Your physique reminds me of a bigger version of Danny Hester. You my want to stay with bodybuilding as you have real marketable look.
I can honesty see you getting an endorsemnt deal with a little more contest success.

You are right on WBB, the pics rarely show how ripped and impressive the better guys at the nationals are.
Having said that, you belong on the national stage as a heavy wt. Do the nationals or USA next yr when things settle down in your personal life.

Question for you, do you know when the WI state is next year? I wanted to do the MN state then possibly Jrs, but I think they are on the same weekend next year, so I was thinking WI state would be a good option.
Not positive but I strongly doubt that mn state and jr's are the same weekend. I think Christine likes to use mn state as a luanching point for jr natl's, especially for her clients. Also, she works for the NPC at Jr Nat's, as least she has the past two years that I went down there to watch.
Today I will do what you will not, so that tomorrow I can do what you cannot.

Tell me about it man, it sucks, but thats the reality of bodybuilding. Most recreational sports for adults cost money though. I have friends who race motorcycles, do traithalons, and all sorts of other stuff and they drop some major cash too. A guy I know recently dropped FN 10K on a road bike....as in one that you peddle!

I thought the same thing. I believe the MN is on June 15, which is the 3rd Saturday in June, which I know Jr's usually is. However it looks like next year there are 5 saturdays in June, so Maybe Jr's will be the 22nd.

Ideally I'd like it if there was 2 weeks between, but as long as it's not the same weekend, I'll probably do the MN state then Jr's.

In any regard, Christine knows her shit and I think she'd probably schedule before Jr's. If not, compete in Wisconsin!

you have to have close to a perfect life setting to keep doing this shit...money, relationship, health...everything has to come together perfectly
