I was at that event (1997 British Grand Prix) and no-one even came close to Levrone that day...

Cormier was 2nd (looked incredible) with 2nd placed Olympia finisher Nasser in 3rd! Dillett was 4th and Ronnie in 5th, Priest in 6th...

I did the photo-report for Musclemag for that show. I'll never forget being backstage taking photos and Jean Pierre Fux was there in his trunks and trainers (shoes) pumping up then went to stretch his chest on some scaffolding that was there and he just let that stomach GO, I swear I'd never seen anything like it, it was a foot out in front of him and you could see at the judging he was struggling to keep it in...

Cormier was doing chin-ups on the scaffolding and Priest doing press-ups, Vince Taylor (7th) posed for some pics for me in his Cybergenics cap, he was always super-nice and easy to approach...

Went for a wander and in one of the dressing rooms was Kevin getting ready, my jaw dropped!!! Never seen him that freaky big and cut before...

Hw was untouchable that day mate! Everyone knew it the moment he walked out and I knew it the second I saw him backstage!!! He smiled at me and patted me on the shoulder walking past to line up onstage when my jaw dropped and blurted out "holy fuck Kevin!!!"...
