  • How Often Is It Acceptable To Eat Junk Food

    For somebody with a reasonably fast metabolism, trying to gain size, how often is it acceptable to eat bad food? When I say bad food, I'm generally referring to KFC. I try to have it once a week at the end, but mid-week the Colonels tempting me. Occasionally, I would convince myself I need the extra calories, and get myself down there ASAP. Thoughts?

    twice a week is ok, but to me KFC is the crap of all crap.

        I know it's not great for you, but I've always thought of it as a good cheat meal tbh. It depends on what your definition of a cheat meal is I suppose. I'd normally have a Box Meal, which would be a burger with a chicken breast, a couple of chicken hot wings, chips, gravy and a diet coke. That's a decent amount of chicken, with some carbs and of course fat. Fuck it I may even take it to three times a week! It seems better than opting for a pizza, or a meal that doesnt give you a decent amount of protein. I may be trying to justify my actions. I just dont know.

            If you're eating it more than once a week, you're not cheating. You're just not dieting. Since you're not dieting, eat whatever you want, just mind your body fat percentages.

              When you make a cheat meal should not worry about the damn protein, enjoy the choice one you like, do not worry, in certain degree.

                    a cheat meal is a cheat meal, why have rules, lol? Just chicken is probably something you eat anyway, so I sure as hell am not hungry for that when cheat time comes. It's all out man. Pizza, cookies, ice cream and shit loads of candy, then I switch to salty stuff like chips and end up in a coma on my bed waking up nice and full! Love it...

                    Just the food at kfc is all the same colour besides that green shit they put on a plate. But if you like, scarf that shit down!

                          In the UK if you ask for a two or three piece KFC meal the server will usually give you a breast and a thigh piece. The breast piece you can eat and your fingers are dry. The thigh piece is more juicy and your fingers are caked in grease after. So I guess you could ask for just breast and explain it's because you watch your fat intake (ignore the laughing). I can't really see that without fries and coke being extremely unhealthy, it's dry. McDonalds also do their grilled chicken deli stuff. BK couldn't give a fuck about your waistline.

                              If you are in blast mode and you have problems to reach the calories you need to grow junk food is no problem at all. Take care that you have enough protein and add junk too get enough energy when needed .
