I hear ya and if it was me I'd probably keep it private but Antoine wanted the story told. We are in a weird position as we don't want to exploit his situation but he wants it out there.

I won't debate the issue any longer than this post out of respect to Antoine and NaturalGuy. But I will end with this comment: think of how, when, and where youre saying things, and their implications on the thread topic. Like I said, this thread isn't about you. It's about supporting Antoine.

Aside from that, I've wished Antoine luck too many times. If he can't pull himself in with a support line, it's probably time to let go of the rope. Cool dude, great physique, strong as hell, starting to become an embarrassment to the people who still support him though. It's one thing to let yourself slip when nobody is around, but when people are watching AND supporting you letting yourself fall so far should never be an option.

Not rreally. You can find drugs any where! Its weird because you just "know" where to look to find them. I think meth and heroin are the HARDEST things to kick! Those two grab you by the soul! It can be done and everyone has a way of doing it. I went to inpatient rehab twice! I wasnt ready to stop so i played the game and convinced them i was ready to "graduate". But in rehab, IMO, there are too many "war stories", ie people talking about using and the things they did when they used. I actually got more out of IOP than anything else.

Thanks for your insight Mike, it's appreciated because many don't know what it's like first hand. I delt with this thru family members and I can tell you it's frustrating. My aunt battled drug addiction for years, would disappear and appear randomly. One day got in trouble with the law, went thru a program that lasted a very long time. She was released with a job and was doing great. Bought a house,nice car, was doing better than most people who were her friends before she became an addict. Then one day relapsed, we started seeing weird behavior... Of course she denied it, shortly lost everything and back in the streets.

Really hope A.V gets better for good, not only to live his dream as a bodybuilder, but to be a better person. That moment with his mom was powerful. Hats off to Universal.

In a world filled with BS companies marketing BS products to exploit the cash of people wanting greatness in exchange for pennies.....I have to say Universal and Animal seem like some really stand up companies.
I only use the animal pak vitamins but you guys are a company I can get behind. Very cool how you have separated yourself from the market. Much respect!

This is bang on point. Never had to deal so closely with drug addiction but depression of a loved one. It is in these moments when you realize and truly understand what unconditional love means.

I wanted to kind of stay out of this but I hope he is doing ok and that he should know if he does not already that in Toronto there are a ton of resources and support available for help and support here (90% plus of these options are either free and/or covered by medicare/OHIP including the rehabs)

If he doesn't have a clue where being new to the city then if you want either of you can pm me and I will see what I can do to help send him that info.
