well mike either way you look at it or spin it the fact remain is that either way you go about submitting for a invite whether its by selection process or the first 50 to get their card status renewed either way its a hit or miss situation.

The original method you must submit your renewal app for pro status and a letter of consideration of why they should choose you to be a participant along with current photos and then the waiting game begins and yes its a disappoint to many that submit only to find out after weeks of dieting that you are not on the list so its the same with this new method minus the other requirements of letter and photos being submitted...its still a waiting game to see who the 50 will be instead of 10 or 15 competitors its 50.... its still a game of waiting it out, besides that there is no way of knowing who sent in theirs first so its still a gamble.

THE selection committee can still pick and choose the 50 without us even knowing but its a chance one takes, same as if you were too go about it like previous method in the fact that we dont know until its revealed and those that been in the game long enough should know by now and should not be surprised it they are not on the list of the luck 10-15 CHOSEN in old method ... surprise would be if they do happen to get on the list as it will be with this newer version....NOTHING VENTURED, NOTHING GAINED - " You can't get anywhere unless you're willing to take a risk
