I didn't know Renel, never saw him before until Prejudging.
After prejudging everyone told me I was "Too Complete & Balanced" by comparison and naturally I believed that and never looked back.

In 91 or 92, I went to Tonya Knight's apartment because she was letting us use it for John Romano to film a couple episodes of his Muscle Meals cooking segment for our ESPN American Muscle show. Of course I had a little schmoe crush on her, and being 21-22, was trying not to gawk and drool. I recall she had a lot of cow themed décor in her kitchen for whatever reason.

Looking at those pics reminds me how luck I was to not only follow the sport back then, but to be at that show and every Arnold until 2007. I never really appreciated going to those shows until now and look back at what I got to witness during probably the best era of bodybuilding. The shows were smaller and being at the Vet was unreal. Fans now can't appreciate just how HUGE Arnold was. The ovation the Rock got at the O, Arnold got when he came on stage. He would always show a clip of his new movie and we would eat it up. There were no pre contest pics posted, we had NO idea how the guys would look at the show.

On a schmoe note, I remember walking down the steps leaving the Vet with Nikki Fuller in front of me (sorry Noel) and I had such a grin on my face. A few years earlier I was going into the Red Zone after the Arnold and Kim Chivesky was walking in ahead of me and she had a short dress with the back cut out and these big heels on. OMFG, I wanted to sober up and go train back and calves. Kim made me feel soooooooooo small. Lol. But yeah, she looked good too

I remember Kim guest posing at the Pittsburgh one year and her ass and legs reminded me of a thoroughbred race horse (in a good way) Unreal! Never thought a woman could look like that. I was around 225 at the time and she made me feel small! OK so I was probably a chubby 225...

Kim and Chad are two of my favourite people in the sport.

When I ran backstage at the Dallas pro last June just after Rosie had won I literally pounced on those two from a proper sprint. Bear hugs all round.
