His posing is aweful, but he has definately improved it since then. Also, that is the hardest, dryest and grainiest he has been in any of his shows.

Amazing. He's improved a lot since then and still has a ton of potential to do even more. Evan's also very smart and mature, he's going to do some damage.

Evan looked so calm up there, and hit the poses so fluidly. The competitior next to him, who was obviously the main competition, seemed to be trying much too hard. No doubt he was a freak, with great musculature and hardness, but couldn't compete with the aesthetics, arms, and overall package that Evan presented.

I was there and was lucky enough to speak with Evan for a moment. I was extremely impressed with him, on stage and off, and thought he was a pro in the making. I remember telling him that if he brought up the legs to match the upper body and practiced his posing, he would be virtually unbeatable.

This was his first show. He wisely took time off and then won the 06 Jr Nats, was 2nd in the Nats super heavy to Desmond Miller and then won it all in the 07 Nats and his deserved pro card.

He's a great guy and look forward to him competing on the pro stage in 09. I am sure he will be on the Olympia stage next year as well.
