For me it is enough to go for a walk, I like to go when everyone is at home eating or sleeping. It is much cheaper and allows me to have energy to lift.
I like to have only functional muscles now. If you can have a job where you do nothing or you are PRO bodybuilder it is great to have shit load of muscles, but if you need to do manual labor job, do other sports or something and walk and move all that muscle that is useless outside of the gym. That is not fun for me anymore.

I wish I had an excess muscle problem, lol, but I'm far from that at 168 pounds.

No, believe me, eating a lot is not a problem for me, after a long time eating 8 meals a day and weighing 222 pounds (with tons of body-fat), my stomach and my appetite were affected forever. Putting on quality muscle in massive amounts is impossible if you are natural like me, and if you also have a genetics that sucks.

Interesting. That you gained, but only with high amount of body fat. Even when you eat bodybuilding diet and work out.. There can be some health issues. Maybe high stress for some reason..

Of course there are also other things that come into play the fatter you get but you can't just completely nullify the laws of thermodynamics by eating healthier foods.
It is hard to get fat on really clean bodybuilding diet high in protein, moderate in carbs, low in fats.. If he is gaining mainly fat with no muscles it looks like his diet must be to high in fats and low in protein.. I don't like this calorie is calorie. No it's not.. Eating 3000kcal of beef vs 3000kcal of toast with jam will give you completely different results.. If you eat really clean lean meats, rice, oats, eggs etc. and you workout hard. It is very hard to gain a lot of fat on diet like that.. I don't know anyone who become fat ass while eating unlimited calories from rice, chicken breast etc.. and workout hard.. But if you start eating a lot of junk food or fats overall and also keep your carbs high than yes you can gain a lot of fat easily because the body will use carbs for energy and store almost all fats you eat.. But eating mostly carbs and protein it is very hard to get fat.

I said if you eat too much, ie. too big of a caloric surplus, you will gain a lot of excess weight that is not muscle. Just doubling your calories doesn't mean you will gain double the muscle I don't care whether it's from chicken breast or chicken nuggets. It's still too much.
He's also natural which means that'd be even worse thing to do unless he has Ronnie Coleman genetics.
And if you were already too fat to begin with...well I am not gonna even get started on that.

And like I mentioned there are obviously a lot more variables to take into consideration than just food consumption and without knowing any of that I can only make guesses.
The point I am making is that eating "too big of a calorie surplus" from chicken breast, rice, oats, egg whites etc.. is very unlikely.. But if you add other high calorie foods easy to eat. That is a different story..

Yeah, that's right... there's a big difference between eating food to gain muscles and eating food to gain fat.. You better not mistaken them

He become a bit arrogant of late. I noticed it during his recent interview with Giles for Global Muscle.

Akim will make him look small. Justin will expose his structural issues. Don't get me wrong Nate Spear is a friend of mine. Nick is no longer standing next to Nate and Chris DiNardi. New world

Yeah he's gonna get exposed... He's way ahead of himself, he has many flaws.

top 5 for him would be a win.

Matt seems to be very good at building confidence in his clients so maybe it is genuine self belief.
He doesn't understand or respect his competition, matt is very good at making people push when they probably shouldn't....
