  • How much bigger can Shaun Clarida actually get?

    Shaun Clarida.

Weighed 155lbs in his first Olympia in 2015.

Wins the 2020 Olympia 212 at 177lbs literally looking like a mini Ronnie Coleman.

I’ve made some (kinda) calculations. If - for arguments sake - we say Ronnie was 6 foot tall and Shaun was 5 foot tall.

Ronnie - for arguments sake - was 300lbs (pretty much) onstage at his all time freakiest, would Shaun have to be 200lbs to be a 212, shorter version of Ronnie?

If so he still has a way to go, right? 23lbs?

This is what’s floating round my head. Am I thinking in the right direction or have I gone a little bit mental?

    Thoughts?

I think he could still get bigger and keep his lines. I was beyond impressed at the O. He looks like he is 212lbs but he isn’t even 200lbs. Will be a good battle again at the O with him, Kamal and Peterson

Bodybuilding is about building....so I think he will get bigger but I don't really think he NEEDS to get bigger.
People might call him "Mini"....but no one would really call him "Small".

But a big version will be more spectacular or ruined his appearance? That can grow more does not mean that he should.

Let's see if Keone can get into the condition needed to stand next to Clarida and Kamal. He's proven to be mentally weak so far

He has put decent size and looking epic in gym photos, in classic his condition was not a problem but has only competed once in 212,

He only showed up once in decent shape in classic the 2019 NY Pro. He also needs to drop the vacuum. It doesnt suit his physique

Keone looks very impressive atm but as griff said until he can prove he can get in top shape he’s not really a contender. If he does bring it in he’s clearly very dangerous.

Right now he seems unbeatable, but the condition is a great IF

I think 185lbs is the highest bodyweight Clarida can get before he totally maxes out his frame.

He’s super close to it now at 177lbs.

8 pounds on his frame is a lot of muscle. Also everyone is ruling out Lunsford. Derek will be very different with Hany. There will be no filling up on fast food burgers and fries and no McDonald's apple pies the day of the show
