Fuck yes man hope you have a smooth peak week! What’s the plan of attack? Smooth cruise in or gonna go nutty with carbs/water?

Heavy water all week, cut it down to a half gallon on Friday, no water after 3-4pm. Cut the protein down to 2-3oz a meal on Wednesday. Not as lean as I'd like to be, but I'm happy with my muscles. 228, 1 week out in these pics.

In retrospect, was he ever coming back? With the benefit of hindsight, I suspect he was doing the Kai Greene tease all along. If you were really going after the Mr Olympia open title would you really be opening gyms? Seems like the very top guys are just locked down focused year round, not creating distractions and obligations for themselves.

The Ramy story is getting stranger by the day. Ramy did an Arabic podcast. Nick Trig supposedly got it translated. It's Nick so it should be taken with a grain of salt. Ramy according to Nick said he promised his kids that when he was 38 he'd stop bodybuilding. Is he in or out? Is he saving face?

I think I understand now why Ramy was barely a 200lb gym rat before they got ahold of him in Kuwait and separated him from his personal life. Suddenly he grows into an Olympia contender.

We should always be hesitant to believe Nick, but if this is true, then maybe he might walk away. He has made good money and I’m sure he Ives Ike a king in Egypt. I wouldn’t be shocked if he doesn’t show up to compete and if he does, I don’t see him winning. I think Brandon will win and Hunter will be 2nd

At my contest last weekend (I'll post pics when I get the official ones from the photographer) I met Justin Shier. He had won that show in 2020 when he was BARELY 200lbs. The dude is the size of a house. He coached a really good and super nice LHW bodybuilder. Grabbed this pic backstage. I let them out angle me a little but for context I'm 5'10" 226 at weigh ins. Eva Montgomery is my trainer in the gym and she was here to guest pose. She's well over 200 here. Lord knows how big Justin is. There are LEVELS to this thing.

It was a low turnout show for bodybuilding. I was the only super heavyweight (on the right). Here are a couple good shots from the overall comparison. Heavyweight in the middle won the overall, he's leaner than it looks in these pictures. It was a good run! It's easy to think "if only I brought up my legs/back some more and came in a little leaner...." but that goal post always keeps moving. Appreciate the support as I prepared for my last show.

Well done! And it's not your fault no one else showed up. Supers are a rare thing at local and regional shows. Usually there are only 1-4, and often they are either only that heavy because they are well over 6 foot, or else they are 20 pounds or more over what they should have come in at to be in real shape. If this really was your last show, you did it right.
