They have to stay in another country that is not on the US banned list for14 days before travelling to the States. James Hollingshead was a bit disappointed that there was no special travel policy in place to let athletes on the banned country list travel to the USA to compete in the Olympia.





With specific exceptions, several Presidential proclamations suspend and limit entry into the United States, as immigrants or nonimmigrants, of noncitizens who were physically present within the following countries during the 14-day period preceding their entry or attempted entry into the United States. This - PLENTY of athletes from Europe are competing in the Arnold and the Olympia. They are following the procedures set in place, just as Lionel could have done.
