I voted for Lee Priest. But , based on who he defeated ,a good case can be made for Danny Padilla.
The real problem with this debate is NONE of the men listed, were able to slay the giant of their era in the big contest.
Gaspari won the Arnold but always lost to Haney in the Olympia. Plus, Gaspari was around 5'8", so he's a decent ht for a pro BB.
Shaun Clarida won't get much love in this thread, but he's the only 212 pro in the modern era with an open pro win.

Padilla for me.
I think Padilla had a nicer structure than Lee Priest. Lee obviously had the 3-D freaky muscle.
I always thought the ratio of Lee's legs to his torso was a little off and his short legs had a bit of that dwarfish look.
Danny Padilla might have been short but he was in proportion with long limbs for his height.
Padilla also placed higher in the Olympia and arguable could have won it.
