Forum Update: What's Been Going On?

I promised you all transparency when I took over as COO and Head Forum Admin, I will always do that. So here's what happened. Last week, the forum was hit with a major outage.
It destabilized the database considerably, and as you know our database is huge. I tasked our developers to make repairs asap and get it under control.

We rebuilt the forum database and implemented some minor corrections to ensure that your experience is always enjoyable. These past week has been hard for me to set aside time but we want you to know that although I haven't been around much on here, I passed on messages through Ron, Griff, Mike, TheMayor & Dave.

Thanks for your understanding and patience this past week and a half. I know it was frustrating. It frustrates me too as I never want to let you down.

I'm glad to hear it wasn't anything permanent

FYI, MD is my one and only BB forum and form of internet interaction and most of my BB contest info ...period .

As some already know, I'm older and don't have a FB page, or use IG, social media etc.
I do like the overall advantages with cell phone apps however ( music , product orders, etc)

If MD ever goes "belly up" , it may end my days as an active fan of BB

Obviously this forum has faced some technical issues for a long time but I'll be patient and stick around because I MUCH prefer this form of communication rather than social media posting. Forums are nostalgic for everyone over 35. I am sure there are 25-30 year old bodybuilders who have never been on a BB forum.
