Hi Everyone.
Just as a friendly reminder between December 7th thru December 8th, the forum will be undergoing an upgrade and service may be disrupted for a period of time. This maintenance will be done at a time that will impact traffic the least, but offer huge benefits. Especially with the Olympia right around the corner.
Enjoy and thanks in advance for your understanding.
Best
Jen

PS Because of the email regisration being abused, registration will be by invitation only.
The Invitation must come from a No Bull member of 1 year or more, and it must be sent to Jen directly with an email address and username of the invitee.

Thanks for your cooperation.

I of course found Bodybuilding through Arnold's Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding and old Weider Mags from the 70s. It didn't take long to realize at 5'5" I was NOT going to look like Arnold!
I did however discover his best friend Franco that I COULD POSSIBLY look like some day so...it was Franco.

Thanks mate. This was the very first ever full physique photo I had taken.

I had a few coats of Pro-Tan underneath then whacked on Dream Tan, that shot was taken seconds after it had gone on, then I went onstage. I loved Dream Tan, but it had to be applied properly and the skin had to be scrubbed almost raw (and moisturised properly) for it to really take.

Never even had abs in my life (not even close to it) before this prep. 13 weeks, no cardio, no coach, no training partner, no diuretics. Did it completely my way, thank God it worked & won straight firsts. The entire prep was an amazing experience, loved every minute.

…Even the tren coughs ha ha, seeing stars, wretching over the bathroom sink uhhh boy.

Hope is a powerful motivator Beti.

And by the time I competed some 14-15 years later & won my first show, no, I wasn’t disappointed at all by the final result.

By then I had more knowledge and certainly wasn’t feeling conned being told when I was a child by another child I could look like Robby if I trained for two more years.

Well, without hope no achievement would be possible.

You got an ultra defined and hard look.

I wanted to look like Mark Dugdale or Lee Priest, lol

No, I was not disappointed because little by little I understood the reality and the probabilities, but if someone had told me that by trying hard I could achieve it, I don't know if I would have been upset. I do not like to be fooled.

When I was starting out I wanted to look like Matt Hughes from the UFC. I cringe at guys who are just starting saying they want to be pros. That said, maybe 1 in 1000 guys who dream of being pro make it, but basically 0 make it who think its impossible.

So if I started today, I'd probably have settled for mens physique.
