  • Ameen Alai facing murder charge

    https://generationiron.com/guru-ameen-alai-arrested/

The deceased has to be Andy Haman. Died March 19, 2021 and is from the same area.

Ameen is going to have a very strong defense. It'll be easy to find a court "expert" who will say Haman died of decades of steroid abuse. Not great for the industry no matter how the case turns out.

So is IBOGAINE similar to Methadone? And why did the DA wait close to a year to file charges?

      Weird situation.

Ibogaine is loosely, roughly, if you squint...like ayahuasca. It's a schedule 1 drug federally. Weirdly, CO made it legal AFTER this incident when it legalized other hallucinogenic drugs for therapeutic purposes.

You can find videos of Ameen talking about it on youtube on various internet show appearances. He says it saved him from his bout with addiction to opiates.

He's in deep shit and certainly will be advised to take a plea deal because "20 to Life" can easily become Life with federal guidelines.

Good analysis on your part and I didn't know this drug even existed, never mind used in BB circles .

I only know what I read in the link and info from your brief posts.
But, I remember a "wrongful death case " blamed Twin labs Ripped Fuel tabs, over 20 years ago.
MD magazine had a full article on it , soon after it happened.
Some chunky , minor league baseball pitcher was exercising in the AZ heat for spring training.
The report said he was wearing layers of sauna suits and didn't drink water , to " sweat off" weight .

The fat pitcher died from extreme dehydration and heat stroke .
An autopsy found 10-12 ripped fuel tabs in his system and blamed THAT as the cause of death.

They largely IGNORED his excess wt, the layers of sauna suits or self deprivation of fluids.
Nope! The court ruling basically said this was a "wrongful death" due to abuse of " Ripped Fuel ".
This case led the way for the GOV to ban ephedrine and herbal ephedrine in OTC supps .

To be clear, I'm against the extreme drug use common now in the hardcore BB culture.
I wouldn't take the drug in question in this Ameen case . But, nobody is making me take this crap,so I don't...doah!
Now, if a licensed MD gave me the wrong meds or the pharmacy sold me some contaminated pills..sue 'em !
FYI, accountability is why you can heed your docs advice or feel safe using meds from a pharmacy .
But, if you let some "guru" talk you into taking something, that's on you.
Unlike a licensed medical doc, the guru doesn't come with a quality control guarantee .
To me, the biggest problem, is poor judgement and failure to take personal responsibility .

It's legal and prescribed drug / alcohol treatment in Australia and New Zealand. Interesting enough those countries have far stricter food guide lines than we do. Some of the shit we eat is considered inhumane to feed to pets there. I digress but my point is if they say it's relatively safe it probably is in controlled doses . The flip is too much can kill a lot of people. Same with a lot of drugs.

well with all the recent deaths over the last couple of years i am surprised it has taken this long
for one of these coaches/gurus to have been charged.it was only a matter of time before it happened

I don't see it that way, for some reason the government is not interested in addicts discovering some alternatives like ibogaine.

If they wanted to fuck prep gurus, then, they could have to turn to the post material, where appear some gurus names, but no Ameen.

As far as I know, Ameen was a successful guru a long time ago, before social media, when he appeared in the industry a few years ago he wasn't taken seriously as he didn't groom anyone top athlete, and he doesn't seem to lift.

So it seems that he changed his business model to helping addicts and dedicated himself to recommending and / or selling ibogaine.

                    Never heard of Ibogaine either!

Unusual for me not to know (or have taken to excess) a dangerous drug. I’m slacking, clearly.

Ibogaine is used to detox from opiates and other addictions it clears the receptors and resets the brain. It’s more powerful than Ayahuasca.

There's a discussion of a near death experience with ibogaine on RXMuscle.

In theory, that would be the perfect drug to help people.

I read it can cause heart palpitations. Apparently the the risk is death by heart attack.

It's a bit funny, using a drug to cure addictions.

I am quite pessimistic in this sense, I do not believe that addicts, for the most part, have some kind of remedy or solution.

There are always isolated cases of success, and those cases are used to sell legal or illegal remedies and therapies.
