Oh most of the time it really does mate.

Back in the 90’s on the morning of the British Grand Prix’s in Nottingham I used to wait at the lobby of the hotel I knew the pros were staying at, as soon as they walked in knew who was in shape and who wasn’t purely by their faces.

Later that day I’d see them on stage and 9 times out of 10 my observations from earlier that day were bang on.
