I am convinced that for 70% of the stuff that people go in to see doctors for, the general population could sit at that terminal and play doctor effectively.
That’s why they’re starting to use AI for diagnostics, proving to be more accurate than a live doctor. Doctors are utterly useless at this point.

This is when I feel old - when I am desperately longing for the past. I'm sure there are many things I should be thankful for technology for. Hell, I've worked in wireless telecommunications for 3 decades now, but I hate "progress". I want to go to the doc and for him to break out the stethoscope and the wooden tongue depressor that tastes like shit. I want to go into a mechanic and have him check under the hood instead of plugging in an OBD scanner. I want the milk cart rolling out in school cafeterias. I want chalk trays in gyms, coaxial cable to my televisions and no "water police" signs at the entrance to my subdivision telling me when I can and cannot use my outside water.
