    If magical muscle fairy floated down and told you she would grant you one thing related to bodybuilding Of the choices below, which would you choose:
    -Shredded conditioning on demand
    -3lbs of lean muscle per year for the next 10 years
    -Bulletproof joints that feel like youre 18 for life
    -Social media fame with no real accomplishments

    For me, while #2 sounds fantastic, it would have to be the joints. To recapture the joy of workouts of the past and to be able to do exercises I had to cast aside years ago due to joint pain and injury would be priceless.

    Anyway, I'm curious where this one falls...

          3lbs muscle/year for the next 10 years. I have a muscle wasting disease, lol -- that's the option that would give me the most longevity and functionality. Even with all my stupid heavy training, joints never got that fucked, all work-around-able.

            If you want 3lbs of muscle in perspective, think of going to the meat section of the grocery store and grabbing a lb of beef. Take it out of the package and slap that fucker on you. Now do that 30 times. SWOLE!

                        Training without discomfort guarantees training pleasure without having to eliminate your favorite exercises or reduce loads. If you can't do it you won't be able to build muscles and when you go to get in shape, it will be much harder.

                            Mate, can you tell us about the crazy things you've tried to get condition? How has it become more difficult over time for age, or is it easier now than before due to experience and more self-control?
