    Yea, regular milk is about half the price, ounce for ounce. So you pay more for the lactaid milk. Its worth it though if its the only way you can drink it.

It's probably just easier to get lactose-free milk.

      Ive heard of those pills. I never tried them. I figured that for the amount of milk I drink, Id have to take ALOT of pills, and wasnt sure theyd even work for that kind of quantity. I drink half a gallon on a daily consistant basis, and used to drink a gallon.

            there's a Super Human Radio episode about milk and it's properties...presents milk as good for health/fitness...also discusses the benefits of raw/unpasteurized variants...

            I go back and forth in my thinking on the matter...seems that there is an equal amount of opinion regarding the positives and negatives...
            This is a language up with I cannot put.

Yes milk is high in galactose, (milk sugar) which is essentially glucose with a lactose molecule attached to it, and yes it doesn't now contain the amount of calcium that it is hyped to have, but... here it comes, it contains a ridiculous amount of growth hormones, "natural" ones, it is a slow burning protein, and is essential for baby calves when they do their largest amount of growth, as is human breast milk for babies. If I could put on muscles mass like a 1 year old, I would be in the money. Yes, drinking some other species milk is strange as hell, but so is trying to be 250 pounds at 3% bodyfat. Extreme desires require extreme measures. Besides, Milk is still legal right??

                Agreed. Milk has always given me the BEST size and strength gains. I have to drink LACTAID brand, so its more expensive but completely fuckin worth it. My joints and tendons even feel better when Im on half a gallon, up to a gallon per day. I just started on whole milk again yesterday, woke up today with an extra line on the measuring tape, on the arms. Feelin better already.

                I dont know how milk is low in protein, like one poster said. Is the label inaccurate? All I know, the shit fucking works better then any other food for me. I go with whole milk cuz my body is a fucking furnace and burns everything in sight. I need the extra calories. Calcium, I could give a fuck. Im sure Im getting more then enough calcium in a gallon or half gallon daily. I drink milk for the protein and calories. My diet is atleast half liquid, between shakes and milk. The rest is high protein non-cook snacks. Peanut butter, string cheese, nuts, beef jerky, yogurt, sliced meats, etc. I only eat one LARGE meal typically. Like 2000 calorie or more, sometimes 100+ grams of protein. Fuck conventional.

                  This tells you alot about milk and side effects. There's a reason that all these young hotties now a days have jugs larger than chics I used to date when I was in school.

                          Milk = deadly poison

                          Whey isolates rock tho. But it lacks the 3 biggest culprits of cow Milk problems: casein, sat fats, and Lactose.

                          I also for cereal etc use Almond milk or Soy milk (unless Im eating another direct soy protein source for the day).
